Cost.

This is a labor of love for me, and your participation and commitment to show up is a gift. With that said, I have expenses in this work and your monetary gift helps pay for food, beverages and access to materials for the class. I’m inviting you to participate on a suggested sliding scale, after deposit.

Step 1: RSVP & DEPOSIT TO HOLD SPACE

Once you decide to participate, email me and let me know.  If there’s still room, I’ll send a confirmation and ask you for a deposit.

I’m requesting a $100 non-refundable deposit, half of which can be paid within a week of your RSVP to hold the space.

You can Venmo, I’ll send a Pay Pal link, or you can drop cash off in Sandy. The other half can be paid at the start of our first weekend. If this is a hardship, please reach out to see if there are other arrangements we can make. I don’t want money to be a barrier.

Step 2: Sliding Scale After Deposit

Each weekend you’ll have the opportunity to make a suggested donation of $20 by dropping cash into a basket when you walk in, or digitally dropping it in my Venmo account. I’m not keeping track of who is donating, but every small donation is a gift.

This allows me to gain more access to shared community resources and materials like printed how-to guides, educational documentaries and materials behind paywalls and examples of after death body care like shrouds or carrying boards.

Summary of Cost

#1: $100 baseline deposit by first weekend($50 paid at sign-up) This covers prepared meals at overnights, contributes to amenities that will make our meetings and campouts more comfortable and accommodating throughout the year and access to some materials. This amount is covered by your deposit and can be broken up, but paid in full by the first overnight.

#2:  $20 suggested donation at each monthly meeting  allows me to gain more access to shared community resources and materials like printed how to guides, educational documentaries behind paywalls and examples of shrouds or body boards and also covers some of my time and attention.

There will be a donation basket for cash and QR code for digital payments at each meeting and I ask that you only give what you are able to that month without creating hardship.
